Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • quater cup sugar
  • 1 half baking powder
  • quater teaspoon salt
  • half cup Blue Band
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • half cup chocolate chips
  • banana

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Add the Blueband Original Margarine in another bowl and microwave for 30-40 seconds. Once the margarine is runny, whisk into it the vanilla, egg and milk.
  3. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop up 1/2 cup of the Blueband margarine and pour onto a greased griddle/pan over a medium flame.
  6. Cook for 45 seconds on one side and flip. Cook for another 15 seconds and then take it off the heat.
  7. Top with sliced bananas and a drizzle of Blueband margarine before serving.
