Ingredients
2 tablespoon oil
1 onion
250 grams mincemeat
1 tomato chopped
half teaspoon turmeric powder
salt
1 cup boiled githeri (cannellini beans, maise or other legumes)
1 cup water
1 stock cube
2 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped
pot boiling water
3 potatoes cut into 1-inch pieces
1 tablespoon Blue Band margarine
2 tablespoon milk

Instructions
Heat oil in a pan and add the onions. Saute for 2 minutes and then add the minced meat and garlic. Cook for 6-8 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, turmeric powder and salt and stir. Cover the pan and let cook for 8-10 minutes.
Add the boiled githeri, water and stock cube and let it boil for 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle coriander leaves and set aside.
In a pot of water, add potatoes and salt and boil for 10-12 minutes or until soft. Remove the water and mash the potatoes with margarine and milk.
Pour the nyama githeri mixture into a baking dish and top with the mashed potato. Bake at 200C for 20 minutes.
