Ingredients

  • salt
  • 5 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
For the meat:
  • 400 grams beef filet mignon steak cut into pieces
  • 6 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoon curry powder
To make curry powder
  • roasted 1 half teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 4 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • half teaspoons cardamom pod
  • 1/4 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1 inch cinnamon
  • half teaspoon black peppercorn
Once roasted, blend the whole spices with
  • 2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
For the sause
  • 3 tablespoon Blue Band peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic and ginger paste

Instructions

To make the mishkaki:
  1. Mix together the ingredients for the meat and marinate for at least 24 hours. Grill over a coal barbecue for 12-15 minutes until slightly charred and meat is tender.
For the dipping sauce:
  1. In a pot add all the ingredients of the sauce and whisk until the sauce thickens and starts bubbling.
  2. Serve with the mishkaki.
