recipe image Pizza Balls
  • 3 tablespoons Blue Band
  • 200 grams chicken cubed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli flake
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup cheddar
  • salt to taste
  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of Blue Band margarine in a non-stick pan, add the chopped garlic and fry till light brown. Add the chicken, black pepper, oregano, red chili flakes and salt to taste. Fry until the chicken is tender and remove from heat.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and 2 tablespoons of Blue Band margarine. Add cold water as required to form a soft dough. On a wooden board form small circles with the dough, roughly about ½ inch thick and about 3 inches wide and use a rolling pin to flatten.
  3. Dress the flattened dough with pizza sauce and add the cooked chicken. Sprinkle on cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Roll into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 15-20 minutes. Serve with marinara sauce.
