Do you sense your little angels getting excited as the school days are getting nearer? New course books bought, pencil boxes prepared, new shoes and uniforms to match their rapid growth; they are so ready to meet their friends!

But beware! This excitement does not mean they are ready for school. Getting your kids back into their routines is one of the most difficult tasks. Here are four ways to get them ready the right way:

  • Start following the school schedule two weeks before school starts. Wake them up early in the morning and keep them active through the day with studies and physical activities. Keep them up and running!

  • Use their excitement as leverage to stick to the schedule! Prepare their uniforms and bags in advance so they are eager to go back.

  • Encourage a positive attitude – Talk about their school year goals and discuss their advancement. Remember, as your kids grow, their interests and passion evolve alongside. Talk to them.

  • The most important thing – Re-establish the habit of breakfast! The one most neglected thing during summer vacations is breakfast. With improper routines, kids often skip out on the most important meal of the day. As you wake them up early to correct their schedules, ensure a healthy, nutritious breakfast filled with the daily required nutrients including Vitamins and healthy fats, for an active day ahead.

  • Try different recipes with them to decide how their lunch boxes will look like. Have fun with them create nutritious recipes with Blue Band filled with Vitamin A and D, Omega 3 and 6.

The healthier the meals, the more productive the day!
